Planners and Responders

Hazard Response Technology (HaRT) was created to make hazard related information available "just in time" to Emergency Planners. By using the HaRT Semantic Web Portal, a planner has access to a specific set of juried data, which enables them to quickly find the most accurate and current information available. The Semantic Web will return the most relevant document first; each title is not only hyperlinked to the document but will provide a summary of that document when moused over. This enables the planner to quickly review the contents of the document without opening it. The HaRT System also provides a Google Search Appliance to the planner. The Google Appliance searches the same specific set of data as the Semantic Web, but in the traditional Google format.
