Hazard Response Technology (HaRT) was created
to aid instructors in their search for specific hazard-related information.
HaRT includes Semantic Web technology, which searches a database specifically
populated with a wide range of hazard related documents and websites.
When the Semantic Web is queried, it will return a list of documents
in the system with the most relevant document first. It will also
create a summary of each document to preview without opening the file.
The user also has the option of using a Google search of the same
information that is contained in the Semantic Web. When Google is
queried, it returns a list of documents that it feels are the most
relevant. This system works like an online Google search without searching
the web. |
