Learning Objectives of the Unit:

Objective # 1: The employee will be able to explain where fire extinguishers and other emergency equipment is located, and whether or not they are trained to use it, and under what circumstances.

Objective # 2: The employee will be able to identify the fire hazards to which employees are exposed on their job, per 29CFR1910.39 (d).

Objective # 3: The employee will be able to identify the type of fire protection equipment necessary to control each major hazard, per 29CFR1910.39(c) (1).
