The Community Training and Response Center was established
in 2003. The building was funded through
a partnership of Linn County, Kirkwood Community College,
City of Cedar Rapids, National Mass Fatalities Institute,
HMTRI, Linn County EMA, and local industry. The Center
is used to prepare and train communities with the skills
needed to respond to emergencies.
